2024, Christmas Happiness Sharing Project
In collaboration with the AMACOS 94/99 set, AGH sponsored 40 out of 70 packages distributed to families across four different states in Nigeria. The packages were distributed to reduce the financial burden many people are carrying in the country. The bags contained about 10 pounds of rice, 10 pounds of beans, 16 pounds of garri, and a liter of oil each. In addition, N10,000 cash was awarded to each family to help reduce the cost of other cooking ingredients.
The heart behind the project was to give people joy during Christmas and the end-of-year season. In doing so, we were mindful of the need not just to give people a day's meal but enough food to sustain a family for weeks. Beneficiaries included widows across the targeted four states, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic cleaners, custodians, and Ojere, Abeokuta villagers.
AGH believes Jesus died for, loves every human, and desires to see them flourish. Everyone must be treated with honor and dignity regardless of where they live or their circumstances. The AMACOS 94/99 set honors this fundamental core value of extending a helping hand to those who need a lifting up. They coordinated and distributed the packages with joy and pleasure. Their execution of the project was of the utmost excellence. Having handled the Happiness Sharing Project alone in prior years, AGH was pleased to award them N2,200,000 for this year's project. Our continued collaboration with their organization keeps reaching people who need help and extend hope to them.
